Mercy Opens Joplin Cancer Center

Mercy Hospital Joplin has opened a multimillion-dollar cancer center that will allow residents of southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas to receive local treatment for their conditions.

 The new center will include a number of features not previously available at one location, including a  linear accelerator, oncology infusion center, healing garden, oncology health boutique, radiation therapy, a dedicated oncology social worker and an oncology rehabilitation program.
