Menorah Medical Center Taps Kirk McCarty as Next Chief Executive Officer

HCA Midwest Health announced Kirk McCarty is the next chief executive officer for Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park.

McCarty has been CEO of Menorah Medical Center, effective June 1. McCarty rejoins HCA Midwest Health from Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colo. where he has served as CEO since April 2023. He also served as chief operating officer for Sky Ridge for over five years.

“I look forward to continue driving the hospital’s innovation, patient satisfaction and employee engagement and to offer residents of the communities we serve the high-quality, compassionate, accessible and technologically advanced healthcare they have come to expect from Menorah Medical Center,” McCarty said.

McCarty earned his bachelor’s in nursing from Truman State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Research College of Nursing.

“His stellar track record for physician relations and service line growth will help Menorah Medical Center strengthen its partnerships with local providers and the communities it serves and propel the hospital into its next growth phase,” HCA Midwest President Keith Zimmerman said in the release.
