Mark Twain Tower revamp proposal secures financing

Developers of a $60 million proposal to turn the historic Downtown Kansas City building into apartments have closed on financing for the project. Mark Twain Tower will be renovated into 222 units of living space and will be renamed the Kansas City Athletic Club Apartments.
