Live Venues Ask Congress for Assistance

Live-performance venues are asking Congress for help, since they have been closed during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

There are reportedly 41 senators who are in favor of such a proposal.

Uptown Theater, in Kansas City, says it has had to cancel about 40 events so far this year, for example.
