The Lenexa City Council has approved preliminary plans to develop a new 45,000-square-foot logistics center.

The project is located in the Lenexa Logistics Centre East business park on a 5-acre site at the southeast corner of 116th Street and Renner Boulevard.

The proposed structure is a one-story building with 45,000 square feet of space. The latest plans for the project now call for a 4,000-square-foot increase to the building’s footprint.

The building is anticipated for light industrial use. While tenants for the building have not been identified, the building will be divided into two tenant spaces. Spaces would be divided into a 15,000 square foot and 30,000 square foot area.

Block Real Estate Services LLC is the developer and Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting is the civil engineer for the project.
