KU Athletics Sees More Pay Cuts

The University of Kansas Athletics department is seeing more extensive pay cuts, following men’s basketball coach Bill Self, football coach Les Miles, and athletic director Jeff Long taking 10 percent reductions in salary.

Now, employees earning more than $300,000 a year must take a 10 percent cut, and people earning between $50,000 and $300,000 have the option to take pay cuts or furloughs.

Employees making less than $50,000 are required to take a two-week furlough over the summer.
