KCMO Loosens Stay-At-Home Order, Missouri Extends

The State of Missouri and Kansas City, Mo., now have conflicting stay-at-home orders.

Gov. Mike Parson has extended his emergency order to June 15, which requires retail locations at 10,000 square feet at 25-percent capacity and larger locations at 10 percent.

Meanwhile, Mayor Quinton Lucas announced that on Sunday businesses can increase their capacity from 10 percent to 50 percent.

“Just because anything can open doesn’t mean that you have to go,” Lucas said, quoted by KCUR. “And so I’ll continue to preach caution to everyone in Kansas City.”
