Kansas City International Airport is adding a new lounge area that will offer a premium experience for all travelers.
Vantage Group announced Escape Lounges will be coming to KCI this winter, according to a release. The project is currently under construction and will be located in Concourse A North near gate A5.
“A pay-per-visit premium lounge experience available to all passengers will further round out the Kansas City-inspired experience we’re delivering at our terminal,” Melissa Cooper, Kansas City Aviation Department Director, said in a release.
The Escape Lounges space will be pay-per-visit and offer amenities including seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings; local beverages from Martin City Brewing Company, Crane Brewing Company and The Roasterie; power outlets; high-speed Wi-Fi; up-to-date flight information and a digital library.
“The new escape lounge is a premiere lounge that all may utilize – particularly those with flight connections at Kansas City International,” Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas said in a release. “Kansas City is proud to be a world-class destination, and we look forward to continuing to build on the early success of the new MCI terminal.”
All travelers can access the lounge regardless of airline, status, or credit card in hand. Escape Lounges will offer complimentary access to travelers with several frequent-flyer programs.
