Internet security is becoming increasingly important for businesses today, and a Kansas City-based company is reaping the rewards of that demand. DisruptOps Inc. recently received $9 million in Series A financing from Columbus, Ohio-based Drive Capital, a new investor for the firm, and Menlo Park, Calif.-based Rally Ventures, a regular backer.
“As today’s cloud-enabled businesses continue to increase adoption of cloud computing, security struggles to keep pace with the volume of security events and the coordination of the many teams involved in the response,” said Jody Brazil, CEO of DisruptOps, in a press release.
DistruptOps will use the funds to boost its product development, which involves decreasing “the time to detect and respond to threats, reducing potential breaches and outages and strengthening the company’s evolving cloud security posture,” according to a company statement.
