KC Current Selects Tally Baker as Chief People Officer

The Kansas City Current announced the appointment of Tally Baker as the organization’s chief people officer.

Baker joins the club with more than 20 years of experience in human resources. Before teaming up with the KC Current, Baker served as the senior director and human resources business partner at Oracle for 2.5 years. Prior to that she also held various positions at Center Corporation for 17.5 years, according to her LinkedIn profile.

“We are excited to welcome Tally to our organization,” KC Current co-owner and co-founder Chris Long, said in the release. “Her extensive experience and leadership qualities will be instrumental in nurturing talent, helping drive growth and positively impacting not only our culture, but also our broader community.”

Baker holds a degree in business administration and human resource management from the University of Central Missouri.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tally is actively engaged in her community through various organizations and leadership programs, according to a release.

“I am truly excited to join the Kansas City Current and look forward to partnering with the leadership team to cultivate talent and drive continued advancement for the organization and our community,” Baker said in the release.
