KC Bier Co.’s Lenexa Location Begins Construction

The Kansas City Bier Company announced it has found its next location in Lenexa, KS, near the West Star Development.

The 2-acre site of the new location will feature a large Bierhalle — including an amphitheater —, a showcase brewery, an event space, a covered patio, and a Biergarten with a children’s play area and an off-leash dog zone, according to a release.

The interior of the building will consist of an 11,200-square-foot first-floor brewery as well as a 4,200-square-foot event space mezzanine. The outdoor space will feature a 3,500 square foot covered patio. The Bierhalle and amphitheater will have an open-air design and will consist of 10,300 square feet of space.

The total indoor and outdoor premises will take up over 29,000 square feet.

An array of American dishes and German favorites like schnitzel, sausage, rotisserie chicken, and popular German “street foods” like Döner Kebab, Leberkäse, and pretzels will make up the menu.

KC Bier Co.’s next location is located in the developing Vista Village, a 46-acre retail, dining, shopping, office, lifestyle, and residential space south of Prairie Star Parkway. Vista Village is currently in a phased development, with the first round of villas expected to be available later this year.

KC Bier Co expects the project to open in early 2026.
