Kansas City law firm closes, staff moves to Armstrong Teasdale

Local law firm Martin Leigh PC recently closed at the end of August following just over 30 years of operation, the remainder of its staff joining St. Louis-based Armstrong Teasdale LLP at its Kansas City firm.

Following the closure of Kansas City-based Martin Leigh PC in August, a law firm operating in the area since 1989, the remainder of the firm’s attorneys and staff have transitioned to Armstrong Teasdale LLP.

St. Louis-based Armstrong Teasdale’s locations throughout the U.S. include one in Kansas City, Mo.

Members of the now former Martin Leigh making the transition include seven attorneys and 13 staff members who join 560 attorneys and staff members nationwide.

Four of the attorneys are now partners with Armstrong Teasdale, the remaining three now Of Counsel.

The additions from Martin Leigh add increased service in the areas of creditors’ rights, real estate, commercial and business litigation, default remedies, bankruptcy, banking, title insurance, collections, personal injury, construction law and probate litigation, according to a Wednesday release from Armstrong Teasdale.
