John Gresham to transition from Cerner to ValueHealth COO

On Thursday, ValueHealth announced it will be welcoming Gresham as COO, bringing with him over 20 years of healthcare IT experience, most recently serving at senior vice president of health networks at Cerner.

Following two decades at Cerner Corporation, John Gresham has taken a new role as COO at ValueHealth.

The announcement was made by ValueHealth President Don Bisbee Thursday, who said Gresham will focus on the expansion of ValueHealth’s consumer strategies along with scaling the company’s clinical, financial and technology operations across its provider network.

“I am excited to have John join the ValueHealth team to help us capitalize on the exponential growth in the digital health services market. His experience in value-based care, digital consumer engagement, data interoperability and platform innovation make him an excellent addition to the leadership team,” Bisbee said. “His unique and proven track record of creating innovative business models, solutions and enterprise partnerships will be key as we continue to expand our surgical platform to our consumer, employer and payor channels.”   

Gresham most recently served as senior vice president of health networks at Cerner and holds over 20 years of healthcare IT experience, creating new business innovations, scaled operations and improved clinical outcomes for major health systems.
