Hunt Midwest Opens its Largest StorTropolis Self-Storage Facility In Olathe

Hunt Midwest has officially opened its sixth and largest StorTropolis self-storage facility in Olathe.

The new StorTropolis Olathe, located at 601 N. Millridge Street, offers self-storage units that are climate-controlled to maintain temperature and humidity. The facility also offers an on-site office for customers to lease through.

The facility has 113,010 leasable square feet across 867 total units, according to a release Tuesday. Unit size ranges from 5×5 foot units to 13×42 foot units.

StorTropolis Olathe amenities include:

  • State-of-the-art technology that gives customers a virtual leasing process
  • Advanced security included gated entry and 24-hour video surveillance
  • Customer call center staffed 24/7
  • Climate-controlled, enclosed loading bay with direct unit access
  • Oversized elevators

“We’re proud to bring our StorTropolis self-storage brand to another corner of the Kansas City metro, offering a best-in-class product to meet the needs of homeowners and renters alike,” Doug Coleman, senior vice president at Hunt Midwest, said in the release.

StorTropolis is a Hunt Midwest self-storage platform with offices in Olathe, Brighton, Tiffany Springs, Blue Springs, Shawnee and Lenexa.

Hunt Midwest partnered with Kansas City-based Strickland Construction and Storage Asset Management for the construction and operation of StorTropolis Olathe.
