How Many Homes In KC Amount to One NYC Home?

A recent study shows for the price of the most expensive home in New York City, there are 1,368 homes available in Kansas City.

The study from PropertyShark found the top 50 most populous cities in the U.S. and how many homes could be parched in them using the price of a $240 million property in NYC.

Amount of homes in other Missouri cities with populations of 100,000 or more are as follows:

  • Springfield — 1,877 homes
  • Independence — 1,840 homes
  • St. Louis — 1,566 homes
  • Lee’s Summit — 964 homes
  • Columbia — 601 homes

The most homes can be bought in Detroit with a total of 4,158, and the fewest in San Francisco totaling 200, according to the study.
