Though the economy is facing several challenges in the faced of the COVID-19 pandemic, home prices might not fall as much as people might expect.
Zillow is forecasting a decline in home prices by no more than 1.7 percent year over year, according to a recent report. That figure is promising despite a recent new-home-sales plunge.
However, home sales are forecast to drop about 60 percent throughout the spring, though prices are expected to rebound a few months later. Zillow says that the recovery will look like a check mark on a graph.
