HCA Midwest Health has appointed 30-year healthcare veteran, Jeff Ardemagni, to the role of chief financial officer.

HCA Midwest Health announced that Ardemagni will take on his new role as CFO and will be succeeding Miah Stutts, who was recently promoted to CFO for HCA Healthcare’s Continental Division, according to a release.

With 30 years of experience in healthcare finance, Ardemagni brings a deep knowledge of HCA operations having worked through roles in both HCA Healthcare’s San Antonio and North Texas divisions.

“I look forward to upholding HCA Midwest Health’s commitment to financial stewardship in order to better serve our patients across the region,” Ardemagni said in the release. “Together, with our devoted medical staff and caregivers, we will continue to advance high-quality, compassionate healthcare while growing and adapting to meet the needs of our patients.”

Ardemagni has held CFO roles at Methodist Hospital, Methodist Children’s Hospital, and Methodist Landmark Hospital, all part of HCA Healthcare’s San Antonio division. He also previously worked for Medical City North Hills in North Richland Hills and Medical City Arlington, two hospitals aligned with HCA Healthcare’s North Texas division.

In December, HCA Midwest Health appointed two leadership roles for its hospitals in Overland Park and Lee’s Summit. Sean Kamber became CEO of Overland Park-based Menorah Medical Center, and Steve Sahr became the next CFO of Lee’s Summit Medical Center and Belton Regional Medical Center.
