Scheduled for completion in August 2021, work has begun on the Heartland Meadows Commerce Center in Liberty, Mo. Upon completion, the commerce center is expected to have the capacity to house around eight tenants across 182,000-square-feet.

In the latest sweep of industrial projects to make home in the Kansas City region, Minneapolis-based developer Opus Group has broke ground on the Heartland Meadows Commerce Center in Liberty, Mo.

Constructed within the Heartland Meadows Business Park, the new commerce center Opus Group said the new center will become the business park’s first new project in over a decade.

Located at the northwest corner of Shepherd Road and Heartland Drive, plans show the center will take up 182,000-square-feet. Upon completion, it is expected to have the capacity to house around eight tenants.

Approved by Liberty City Council members in September, the center is projected to open in August 2021 and will include around 220 parking stalls, 18 docks, four double entrances and two drive-ins.
