Saint Louis-based Enterprise Bank & Trust has completed its acquisition of 12 branches from First Interstate Bank, two of which are located in Kansas.

The acquisition adds ten branches in Arizona and two branches in Kansas with approximately $300 million in loans and $645 million in deposits, according to a release. It now operates branch offices in seven states: Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and New Mexico. The bank announced its plans to acquire the 12 locations in April to increase its presence in the region.

The Kansas branches joining Enterprise Bank include 8001 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park and 10610 Shawnee Mission Parkway in Shawnee.

Following the acquisition, Enterprise Bank & Trust now has approximately $17 billion in total assets. Founded in 1988, Enterprise Financial Services Corp, the holding company of Enterprise Bank & Trust, has approximately $16.1 billion in assets as of June 30.

“We are pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of twelve First Interstate Bank branches in Arizona and Kansas City,” President and CEO of Enterprise Bank, James Lally, said in the release. “In addition to an enhanced funding profile, the addition of these branches allows us to expand our access to existing markets with attractive growth opportunities. We believe this transaction will help us meet the needs of our new and existing customers while delivering continued long-term value for our stockholders.”

The acquired branches have been fully converted to Enterprise Bank & Trust branch offices, and former customers of First Interstate Bank will receive Enterprise’s products and services, including a wide range of commercial and retail banking products.

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and Holland & Knight LLP acted as financial advisor and legal advisor, respectively, to Enterprise on the transaction.
