Jackson County government has released its phase-one recovery plan for the eastern part of the jurisdiction.
Starting on May 11, retail stores will be able to reopen at 25 percent occupancy for store under 10,000 square feet and larger ones can open at 10 percent occupancy. The same rules go for restaurants, though pick-up orders are still encouraged.
Gyms and entertainment centers will remain closed, and church services must have no more than 10 people at a time.
The county is also encouraging people to work from home if they have the ability, and still discourages the elderly and other people at risk for COVID-19 from going out in public.
