With this month’s completion of financing for the 318-unit apartment project and demolition of the existing structure underway, Block Real Estate Services LLC will be moving forward.
In March 2016, the Indian Creek branch closed at the northwest corner of Black Bob Road and Indian Creek Parkway. In 2018, the Olathe City Council agreed to issue Block as much as $53.9 million in industrial revenue bonds for The Clearing at Anderson Pointe.
The multifamily development now includes 270 apartments, 48 townhomes and associated amenities on a 17.4-acre site.
Construction began in November alongside the demolition, which should be finished in December. The project is set to be complete by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
