D.H. Pace Adds Carolina Company to Its Stable

     Olathe-based D.H. Pace Co., maker of commercial and residential overhead doors and entryways, announced today that it had acquired Wade Door Services of Charlotte, N.C., and was moving that operation to the nearby suburb of Pineville, NC.
     D.H. Pace traces its roots to 1926, just a few years before the founding of  Wade, one of the oldest commercial door-installation and service organizations in the Charlotte area. In a news release, D.H. Pace said the addition would strengthen its ability to serve the North Carolina area. The company has more than 1,500 employees in over 25 markets–including more than 500 in Olathe–with annual sales of more than $300 million.
