Overland Park-based Corporate Housing of Kansas City Inc. has acquired S. Burd Corporate Housing to enhance its portfolio of short-term stay services.
The acquisition combines S. Burd’s reputation for quality accommodations with CHKC’s commitment to exceptional customer service and tailored housing solutions, according to a release.
Both companies aim to bolster their experience for corporate clients and extend their reach to meet the growing demand for flexible, fully furnished housing options.
Founded in 1997 by Sandra Burd, S. Burd Corporate Housing specializes in short-term corporate housing. Burd previously owned Corporate Housing of Kansas City LLC, however the company underwent forfeiture in 2022, according to the Kansas Secretay of State Office.
Corporate Housing of Kansas City Inc. is a different entity established in May 2024.
CHKC currently operates corporate housing offerings in the Kansas City area including; The Power and Light Building in Downtown KC; Residences at Park Place, Leawood; The Village at Mission Farms, Overland Park. The company provides fully furnished apartments featuring high-speed Wi-Fi, modern kitchens and in-unit laundry for its guests.
