Coping with COVID: Select Walmart, Sam’s Club locations in Mo. open COVID-19 vaccine sign-up

The multinational retail chain has opened immediate sign-ups for the COVID-19 vaccine at select Missouri store locations. This follows just a few weeks after Walmart announced it would be administering doses of the vaccine as part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.

A number of Walmart and Sam’s Club locations located just outside the Kansas City region on the Missouri side have opened sign-up appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Immediate openings are available at select locations located for the most part north of Kansas City and one just east in Warrensburg, Mo.

Vaccine appointments have opened at a Walmart and Sam’s Club location in St. Joseph, another in Chillicothe, one in Bethany and the last known location in Maryville.

Appointments are being made for Missouri residents with an ID; those for non-residents may be canceled.
