Coping with COVID: Proposed COVID-19 community project approved to receive CARES Act funding

A community partnership project in Jackson County called “Our Healthy KC Eastside” has received approval to use $4,998,014 in CARES Act funding. The Jackson County Legislature approved funding which will be used to address vaccine hesitancy and health inequities in areas of the county.
