Construction begins at Turner Logistics Center for metro manufacturer

NorthPoint Development has begun construction on a warehouse within the Turner Logistics Center in Kansas City, Kan. The new facility is being built for metro manufacturer Plastic Packaging Technologies and is scheduled to finish mid-2021.

Construction work has begun on a new warehouse for the first announced tenant to land operations within the Turner Logistics Center in Kansas City, Kan.

NorthPoint Development broke ground earlier this month on a facility for Kansas City, Kan.-based Plastic Packaging Technologies.

The company, a manufacturer of flexible packing products and services, is expected to begin operations in its newest facility by mid-2021.

Marking the start of the third building within the business park, Plastic Packaging Technologies’ center will take up 361,184 square feet on the 300-acre plot that makes up the Turner Logistics Center.

The new facility will building on operations from an existing warehouse the company has in the metro.

“We’re excited to grow and invest in our business so that we can continue to support our customers with innovative flexible packaging solutions,” Plastic Packaging Technologies wrote on their website. “These significant investments are perfectly aligned with customer requirements for flexible packaging formats and features that create a powerful shelf presence that sells more product.”
