Cobalt Ventures Adds New Managing Partner, Dipa Mehta

Cobalt Ventures LLC, a healthcare venture capital and consulting firm has added a new managing partner that will assist entrepreneurs and future startups.

The firm has added healthcare industry veteran Dipa Mehta. Mehta brings two decades of experience to Cobalt. Prior to joining, she led corporate development and investing efforts at Advocate Health Enterprises under the nonprofit Advocate Health system. Mehta also aided in the creation of the data collaborative Truveta, which encompasses 30 health systems and partners.

Mehta will be working alongside Cobalt Ventures president and managing partner Dave Eichler, Mehta said in a LinkedIn post.

“I have known Dave for a number of years and am excited to partner with him to bring a new type of strategic investing model to payors and providers,” she said.

Cobalt Ventures is headquartered in Kansas City, MO, and is a private equity investor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City.
