Chicken N Pickle will shift its focus toward acquiring complementary entertainment and hospitality concepts as part of a new strategy to seek growth in new markets.
With 13 locations operating across the country, the restaurant and pickleball court entertainment chain is exploring city partnerships to build public pickleball court facilities, with interest in markets such as Houston, Phoenix and Denver, according to a release.
The restaurant cites rising construction costs and uncertainty surrounding international economic headwinds as factors for heading in its new direction. Chicken N Pickle is also actively evaluating strategic acquisitions and partnerships to amplify its brand presence and operational efficiency.
“Growth isn’t just about footprint, it’s also about flexibility,” Chicken N Pickle CEO, Brad Clarke, said in the release.”We are responding to what we are hearing: cities want partners, consumers want meaningful experiences, and brands need to build with purpose.”
Chicken N Pickle is currently reevaluating previously announced new locations.
