On Wednesday, Cerner Corp. announced that William Mintz is now the company’s new chief strategy officer for the global health care technology company.
In his new role, Mintz will work alongside company and client leadership to identify and develop new business opportunities, drive the strategic planning process and oversee corporate strategy, according to a Wednesday news release from Cerner.
Prior to arriving at Cerner, Mintz worked at Aetna, Care3 Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Leidos Holdings Inc., bringing with him experience in other health care and technology businesses.
“I’m excited to be joining a company with a rich history of innovation and dedication to improving health care for everyone,” Mintz said in the release. “I’ve dedicated my entire career to developing strategies and businesses to make the health care system function more effectively. The health care landscape presents many challenges and opportunities and Cerner is well-positioned to continue its leadership position.
