Cerner hires Mintz as new chief strategy officer

The company announced Wednesday the addition of William Mintz to the executive team as chief strategy officer, who brings with him experience in other health care and technology businesses prior to arriving at Cerner.

On Wednesday, Cerner Corp. announced that William Mintz is now the company’s new chief strategy officer for the global health care technology company.

In his new role, Mintz will work alongside company and client leadership to identify and develop new business opportunities, drive the strategic planning process and oversee corporate strategy, according to a Wednesday news release from Cerner.

Prior to arriving at Cerner, Mintz worked at Aetna, Care3 Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Leidos Holdings Inc., bringing with him experience in other health care and technology businesses.
