A new executive director was announced for the Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas on Friday, the organization revealing Salina-native Megan Robl will take over the position.
Robl is making a transition into her new role after serving as director of marketing and communications for the Greater Salina Community Foundation.
“Catholic Charities has always held a special place in my heart and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing organization,” Robl said. “I am so excited to work with the board, staff and community partners as we continue to provide vital services to those in need throughout the diocese.”
Catholic Charities provides services and programs to families and individuals which include emergency rent, utility and prescription assistance, mobile outreach vans which provide food and hygiene boxes to rural Kansans, counseling and more.
In her new role, Robl will lead 15 full-time and seven part-time staff members as well as more than 100 volunteers.
