CarMax’s facility in Olathe, just a year old since it’s opening last summer in 2019, is soon looking to add 150 jobs to its Customer Experience Center.
As part of the company’s goal to fill more than 750 open positions nationwide, CarMax hopes to boost the current number of positions from 230 to 280.
Customer Experience Centers like the one in Olathe exist in part to allow car buyers to shop for vehicles and financing online or by phone while also offering customer visits to retail locations.
Buyers also have the option of picking up a vehicle at a store or having it delivered to their homes.
“No previous automotive experience is necessary for these roles,” Diane Cafritz, CarMax’s chief human resources officer, said in a Tuesday news release. “We focus on hiring people with high integrity and invest in our associates with award-winning training and development to help them build great careers.”
