CARES Act Funding to Colleges Under Scrutiny

Some college and university leaders are questioning the $12.6 billion being allocated toward their institutions.

Apparently, the Department of Education is barring students that are international, unauthorized and under the DACA -program from receiving assistance.

Within 30 days of receiving the funds, institutions must post on their websites where the money was allocated and to how many students and also report this data to the department.
