Butler National Corporation Announces Next CFO

New Century-based Butler National Corporation announced it has appointed Adam Sefchick as its new chief financial officer.

As the company’s next principal financial and accounting officer, Sefchick joins the company with over a decade of financial experience. He most recently served as the chief accounting officer at Kansas City-based Jack Cooper Investments. Sefchick held several leadership roles at Jack Cooper, where he served for over 10 years, including vice president of accounting and vice president of financial reporting.

“We are excited to welcome Adam to the Butler National team,” Butler National CEO Chris Reedy said in a release. “His extensive experience in financial management, SEC reporting, and operational efficiencies aligns with our ongoing initiatives to streamline processes and drive cost reductions as we grow. We are confident that Adam’s leadership will provide a solid foundation for enhancing financial transparency and supporting our long-term growth.”

Sefchick holds a Master of Science in Business and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting, both from the University of Kansas.

Sefchick joins Butler National following the previous CFO, Tad McMahon, who exited the company earlier this year. Butler National announced the company had terminated McMahon’s employment having previously served as ist chief financial officer and secretary in January.

Butler National is an aerospace engineering company that specializes in engineering design, fabrication, maintenance, system integration and manufacturing across its companies. Butler National also manages the manager of the Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City, Kansas.
