New York-based fintech company Broadridge Financial Solutions will cease operations at its Kansas City, MO, facility, resulting in permanent layoffs.

Broadridge Financial Solutions will close its location at 2600 SW Blvd. and lay off 72 employees, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act document filed on April 22.

The location will officially close on June 20.

Employees were notified of the Kansas City location’s closure in January and are expected to receive severance pay, according to the company.

The company operates 16 other locations in the U.S., with more than 20 other international locations.
