Bluhawk, the mixed-use development in Overland Park, is adding several new restaurants and retail tenets and is gearing up to add more when its completes its sports park.
Bluhawk is nearing completion of phase 1 of the AdventHealth Sports Park located southwest of 159th St. at U.S. Highway 69. Property management firm Price Brothers announced the steel for the park has been set as well as some walls.
When complete, the 420,000-square-foot project will offer a $72.7 million indoor multi-sports facility and civic and community center. In addition, the $1 billion, 300-acre mixed-use development site will include; 536,000 square feet of new retail, restaurant and entertainment space, 100,000 square feet of apartments, 80,000 square feet of office space and 206,000 square feet of hotel space.
Bluhawk has had tenets’ businesses open Jinya Ramen Bar, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Cookie Co., Nekter Juice Bar, Chase Bank, Whataburger, European Wax Center and Course Kitchen & Company which held its grand opening last month.
Several new tenants are currently under construction at Bluhawk including Sierra, Ulta Beauty, Rack Room Shoes and Bath & Body Works.
