Overland Park-based Black & Veatch announced Ashley Davidson will join the company as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Davidson will spearhead the company’s global marketing strategy and support commercial growth and client engagement, according to a release. She will report to chief client officer Patrick Hogan and will be based in Overland Park.

“Ashley brings a new level of enterprise marketing excellence, leadership and passion to connect with and guide our clients with proven ways to deal with the world’s macro issues of energy resiliency, abundant water, clean transportation and expanding AI cloud compute capacity to help us grow around the world,” Hogan said in the release.

Most recently, Davidson served as vice president and head of local marketing for two years at Philips, an $18B Dutch multinational company specializing in emerging technology, healthcare and sustainability solutions. Before that, Davidson held marketing executive roles at Cerner Corporation, now Oracle Health, for 22 years. Before leaving Center, she was vice president of integrated marketing and client experiences.

Davidson earned her Master of Science in integrated marketing communications from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in public relations from William Jewell College.
