Arvest Bank has announced the promotion of Kirk Hays to the role of regional executive for the Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas markets.
As a 31-year veteran of Arvest Bank, Hays will oversee the bank’s northwest region. He succeeds Rodney Shepard who was named regional executive for the southeast region, while Shepard is replacing Craig Rivaldo who is retiring after 37 years with the bank.
Hays served as president of the bank’s Tulsa region since 2015. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president, overseeing branch operations, mortgage banking and small business banking, according to a release shared with Ingram’s. He also held roles such as commercial lender and sales manager.
“We’re excited to bring his leadership and experience to the regional level, working closely with our management teams and boards to continue delivering innovative financial solutions to our customers in Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas,” chairman and CEO of Arvest Bank, Kevin Sabin, said in the release.
Hays, Shepard and Rivaldo will work together in the coming months to find Tulsa’s new market president.
Headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, Arvest Bank operates in over 110 communities with more than 200 banking locations throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Arvest Bank has 25 locations in Kansas and 82 in Missouri. Arvest Bank had $26.89 billion in total assets as of March 27.
