Arvest Bank’s new Kansas City, Kansas, branch will operate as a dedicated bilingual location when it opens later this year.

The KCK branch is currently under construction, located at 7908 State Ave., and is expected to open its doors in August 2026. Arvest Bank will begin its bilingual initiative at the KCK branch when it opens, as well as two other existing branches in Springdale, Ark., and Lawton, Okla., according to a release.

“This initiative helps our Spanish-speaking community gain equitable access to the essential financial resources they need to succeed,” Arvest Bank sales manager for Greater Kansas City, Barbara White, said in the release. “We don’t want to just open doors; we want to build a more inclusive economic future for all.”

All three branches will provide Spanish-language resources and a team of bilingual associates who can assist customers with a full range of banking services. The bank hopes to expand the initiative to additional branch locations in the future.

Arvest currently has over 500 associates who are certified to offer products and services in Spanish. In October 2023, the bank opened a Community Resource Center in Tulsa, designed to house multiple departments with bilingual associates and provide free financial education in Spanish and English.

“Our bilingual branch initiative is an extension of that commitment,” Arvest Bank chief engagement officer Cinthya Allen said in the release. “When we remove language barriers, we are able to help customers navigate their financial journey with confidence and ease.”
