AlphaGraphics KC, a professional designing, printing, and marketing service, is planning a $1.4 million expansion in Kansas City that will add new jobs to the Kansas City area.
The printer is investing more than $1.4 million and creating 16 new jobs, according to a Monday release from the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The expansion will add new space to its existing facility to accommodate new service equipment and personnel.
The new equipment will enhance production capacity and operational efficiency. The new jobs accompanying the expansion include additions to the company’s sales team and support staff to serve its growing client base better.
“We have been members of the Crossroad community for 11 years and are thrilled to be property owners in the district officially,” AlphaGraphics KC Owner, Haley Haar, said in the release. “Downtown KC is a unique and thriving area and we are looking forward to continued growth for years to come.”
Founded in 1986, AlphaGraphics KC specializes in specialty toners, white ink and custom paper stocks to square back booklets and soft-touch laminate solution for businesses’ marketing needs. The company was was purchased by Haar in 2009.
“AlphaGraphics KC’s expansion is another example of business growth that’s strengthening the Kansas City region,” Director of the Department of Economic Development, Michelle Hataway, said in the release. “We’re excited to see this company contributing to the area’s thriving economy while creating new opportunities for Missourians to prosper.”
