Alabama-based LIV Development plans to build a nearly 300-apartment complex across from the Overland Park Convention Center.

Livano Overland Park is a 12.2-acre development consisting of 298 apartments in six buildings located at the southwest corner of 112th Street and Lamar Avenue. On Monday, the Overland Park City Council approved the project’s final development plan. The project will now move to the March 3 City Council meeting, where it awaits final review.

Livano would have two access points. The first would be at the north end of the property, off 112th Street. The other access point would be located to the south off of the existing private drive, which separates this use from Element 25, the multi-family development.

Five of the six-building complex would be split into three- and four-story apartment buildings, while the remaining two would be four stories. Four other structures will be used as a one-story clubhouse, spa, pet spa, and maintenance buildings. Other amenities included in the plan are a fitness park, outdoor pool complex, pickleball court, outdoor picnic area, and dog park.

Additional amenities planned for the project include a fitness park, an outdoor pool complex, a pickleball court, an outdoor picnic area and a dog park.

A total of 442 parking spaces are provided on-site through a combination of off-street, garages, carports and on-street parking.

LIV Development is working with Phelps Engineering Inc. for the perfect and Charlan Brock Architects is the architect.
