25 Years of Healthy Engagement

Soon after Michelle and Joe Sweeney and the senior team acquired Ingram’s in 1997 we developed programs with the intent to create exceptional content and recognition programs, and in the process, to establish annual traditions among select industry sectors in the greater KC region. 

Among the first such programs in November ‘97 was Ingram’s Special Medical Edition. We’re pleased to publish this 25th annual edition and to reflect on a variety of programs we hosted or aligned with including Healthcare and Insurance Industry Outlook assemblies and related events and recognition programs.  

We would like to thank our Top Doctors and Heroes in Healthcare honorees as well as nominees, participants and winners from the Fittest Executives and Fittest Companies competition and a variety of organizations including the Kansas City Medical Society, Blue KC, GEHA and  other organizations and numerous medical and insurance industry leaders we’ve aligned with over the years. Since the launch of The Medical Edition the KC region has flourished in the healthcare space as have area medical centers and health systems. We’re proud and pleased to archive this growth and to be a part of the KC area healthcare community.
