Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less

Social media, technology and just the pace of business and life overall are pushing us towards a 24×7, always on world. And although a lot of those advancements are great, the overall result is that we’re trying to do too many things and we’re constantly chasing after ‘more’.
The problem is that ‘more’ isn’t better (even if we’re continually told that it is). In his book ‘Essentialism’, Greg McKeown makes the case that most of us are running very hard but not getting anywhere…and we’re not enjoying the trip. By trying to do it all, we’re not really doing a good job with anything.
