Kansas City, MO, August 22, 2016– The Kelly’s 39th Annual Shillelagh Open Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, September 26, 2016, Shotgun start 11:00 a.m. at the Swope Memorial Golf Course. It is a benefit for the Welcome House Sober Living Recovery Program and families with autistic children.

“In nearly its 40th year, the Kelly’s Shillelagh Open has raised several hundred thousand dollars for Welcome House,” said Mitch Kelly, Co-owner of Kelly’s Westport Inn. “In addition to helping Welcome House continue its mission, a portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit Autism Awareness and treatment for special needs kids in the Kansas City area. Your generous contribution will help these very worthy causes, and aid countless men and children.”

Welcome House is committed to providing a high-quality, moral, and open residential program to recovering alcoholics and drug-addicted men facing the difficult transition from treatment, incarceration, and homelessness to reintegration back into society as productive citizens.
