For more than two centuries, Vienna was indisputably the musical capital of the world. This Kansas City Symphony program features music of the greatest Viennese composers in all of their brilliance, including the rousing first movement of Beethoven’s Eighth Symphony, Johann Strauss’ Emperor Waltzes and the grand finale of Brahms’ Second Symphony. Tickets are only $25 or $30 each and include a glass of wine or champagne after the concert, when you can mingle with Symphony musicians in the Kauffman Center’s Brandmeyer Great Hall lobby. Sponsored by BMO Private Bank.
