A map revealing response progress for the 2020 census was released this week by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Titled as “Nonresponse Followup Completion Rates,” the page up on the United State Census 2020 website shows that the Kansas City, Mo. region has made significant progress, the map displaying that the region has had a response rate of 85 to 99.9 percent.
As of Sept. 1, over 60.3% of the Nonresponse Followup workload has been completed nationwide, according to the bureau.
Nonresponse Followup is the final 2020 Census data collection operation to count households that have not yet responded to the census online, by phone, or by mail.
According to the bureau, this is the first time during a decennial census that the map of rates has been released to the public.
