Protesters gathered at the courthouse in Kansas City Wednesday, requesting a panel change when reviewing convictions.

Those gathered said they want to see a change to an independent panel to review convictions.
One individual who came to show his support in the change request was Reggie Griffin, a former convicted murderer, according to a report from KMBC.
Griffin was convicted in Randolph County, Missouri, in 1988 and sent to death row but was later cleared, according to the same report.
Protesters asked Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker to set up an outside panel to double check some convictions.
