As a jazz pianist Michael Pagán has performed throughout the United States and in Europe with many jazz. As a composer Pagán has written over 150 works, mostly in the jazz idiom. His 2005 big band recording Pag’s Groove garnered wide critical acclaim. In 2010 he released two recordings, Michael Pagán Trio Three for the Ages with bassist Bob Bowman and drummer Ray DeMarchi and 12 Preludes and Fugues for saxophone quartet. A live duo recording with Millie Edwards will be released in April of 2011.
