6:30 p.m.

Join us for a free public program with Will Englund, assistant foreign editor of The Washington Post, as he discusses his most recent book, March 1917: On the Brink of War and Revolution. Focused on the beginning of Wilson interventionism, the book is a riveting history of the month that transformed the world’s greatest nations. This special program also offers the opportunity to view ‘Heroes or Corpses’: Captain Truman in World War I, the Truman Library’s special exhibition on Harry Truman’s military service and how it helped set him on the path toward the presidency and eventual leadership of our nation through the next era of tensions with the Soviet Union.
