Beauty through Courage formerly known as “Death Becomes Hair” is an annual event dedicated to focusing and raising awareness on domestic violence in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world. Featuring an evening of masquerade, fashion, entertainment and socializing. Beauty through Courage is dedicated to putting a spotlight on Rose Brooks Center with part of evening’s proceeds benefiting them as well!
Rose Brooks Center is about saving lives. Not just protecting the hundreds of women and children who need emergency shelter to escape immediate danger, but the thousands of families who dream of a life safe from violence.
Rose Brooks Center is the leader in innovative domestic violence programs and support.
Beauty through Courage will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at the Uptown Theater, in Kansas City, MO, 7pm.
Beauty through Courage is a purple carpet; dual themed event (Black Tie optional Masquerade-Costume Gala) hosted by Fox 4 News Anchor, Ms. Kera Mashek.
