Lenexa-based manufacturer SOR Controls Group has been sold to DwyerOmega, an Indiana-based specialist in precision measurement and control solutions.
SOR produces measurement and control devices for pressure, temperature, level and flow solutions, according to its website. Founded in 1946, the company serves all sectors of the process industry, including power generation, energy infrastructure, chemical processing, and water treatment.
Headquartered in Lenexa, SOR also operates regional sales offices in China and Dubai, as well as manufacturing facilities in Houston, Texas. SOR has a suite of brands, including SOR Measurement Controls, SSi Temperature Sensors and SENSOR Sampling Systems.
The acquisition expands DwyerOmega’s precision measurement product offerings.
“We are excited to welcome SOR Controls Group’s product portfolio to the DwyerOmega family,” Chuck Dubois, CEO of DwyerOmega, said in a release. “SOR brings eight decades of expertise in safety-critical process instrumentation and advances our vision of being the provider of choice for measurement technologies to customers globally.”
Headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana, DwyerOmega is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, a private investment firm with over $30 billion in assets under management. DwyerOmega is a global manufacturer of precision measurement and control solutions.
EC M&A served as financial advisor to Arcline, according to the release.
